What a fun couple of months we have had!!! We started it off with our arctic unit and learning all about penguins and polar bears. We learned about how good daddy emperor penguins are to take care of the egg and baby while mom is off swimming in the ocean for fish. They got to practice taking care of their own little egg and waddling like a penguin. They loved feeding their penguins with the correct number of fish here during snack time.
Sensory painting. We put marbles in a bag with black paint and a white piece of paper cut in the shape of a penguin body. They got to cover it all with paint and we had a "sleepover" to let the art dry before adding a face, wings and feet.
